Instead, she’d hit them with a question that was almost annoyingly simple: “Do you have sati at this very instant?” She was entirely unconcerned with collecting intellectual concepts or collecting theories. She sought to verify if you were inhabiting the "now." She was radical because she insisted that mindfulness was not a unique condition limited to intensive retreats.
